Contracts

RFF service had very little growth in the contracts completed 2014 as compared to 2013 looking at the entire year. February 2014 was an all time high of contracts per month. As 2014 progressed, the number of contracts per month decreased.

Number of contracts completed by RFF annually in 2009 to 2014

RFF had two price increases in 2014: March 1st, 2014 and October 10th 2014.

Rush Contracts

February 9th, 03:00, rush service was established at Red Frog Freight. This replaced some rush service previously provided by Blue Frog Freight. Overdue contracts are those that took more than four hours from acceptance to completion, on which the customer is refunded the reward. Rush contracts are included in the total contracts completed for the year; below are some specific details.

Greater than 500,000 m3 51,796 23.4%

Completion time statistics

Red Frog Freight tries to complete contracts as quickly as possible; within 24 hours after date issued is our goal, but this is not always possible due to various reasons. We ask customers to issue contracts with 3 days to accept and 1 day to complete, and usually RFF delivers well within these parameters.

Out of the 221,333 contracts completed by RFF in 2014, about 89.7% of the contracts (198,433) were completed within 24 hours after a contract was issued. 99.3% of the contracts (219,847) were completed within 48 hours after a contract was issued.

The median time from contract issue to contract completion was about 7 hours and 56 minutes. This is 26 minutes faster than the 8 hours and 22 minutes median delivery time set in 2013.

Recruitment and retention

Our hauling service is made possible by lots of pilots. Since December 2011, RFF uses a standardized recruitment application form, and these statistics are based on those. Total applications are down this year, compared to the effect of last year's community spotlight. Despite having fewer pilots this year, RFF was able to complete more contracts than last year.

Summary of Black Frog Logistics

Contract numbers are separated with regards to security status: contracts with both origins and destinations (high to high) are separated, and these are further subdivided into service to contiguous high sec and to sevice including high sec island solar systems.

Overall, contracts completed decreased this year. Significant changes also include a decrease in service to low sec, and a similar sized increase in service to null sec. The new outposts delivery service most likely increased contributed to the change. 2,257 contracts were successfully delivered to outposts in 2014.

Contracts

The number of contracts completed per month in 2014 varied, much like it did in 2013. A reduction in contracts near the end of 2014 can be attributed to price increases. The highest activity in 2014 was in the month of May.

Summary of White Frog Insurance

White Frog Insurance is the private financial arm of Red Frog. It provides new ships and isk when a pilot loses a shipment (within strict rules). Transactions in pilot's accounts are recorded in their "web wallet", allowing deposits, contract tax / insurance premiums, and bonuses from the star points program to be completed without relying entirely on in-game mechanics.

A basic overview of White Frog financials follows. This comes from the corporation wallet journal and from the web wallet transactions. Note, star points are paid the following month from when they are earned, so star points paid in January 2014 are actually from December 2013, etc.

Thank-you and looking forward to 2015

On behalf of all frogs, we would like to thank all our customers for their continued patronage.

Directors and managers would like to thank the hundreds of pilots in all the frog corporations for making these results possible.

Appendix A: Notes on Data Collection

All contract data for years 2012, 2013 and 2014 was harvested via the EVE API. Most numbers are based on the dateIssued of each contract, and not on the dateAccepted.

If “base rewards” are mentioned anywhere, they represent the reward as calculated by the Red Frog web calculator at the time of contract issue. Therefore, when price increases were rolled out, the new base reward was stored along side that contract.
